This policy concerns enquiries sent to CityCab through city-cab.com. Before publication, this working document must specify the providers actually connected and the retention rules implemented.
The process may collect contact details, language, journey locations and times, passenger numbers, luggage and necessary options. Handling an enquiry relies on steps taken before entering a contract and, for an accepted booking, performance of that contract. The final version must identify authorised staff and the providers actually used for hosting, notifications, bookings and payments. Any transfers outside the European Economic Area and their safeguards must be documented. Journey and contact details must not be included in browsing analytics.
Enquiries without a response are to be closed after 30 days under operator review. Closed enquiries that do not become bookings, together with the corresponding messages in the operating mailbox, should be deleted 30 days after closure. These procedures are not yet active. Enquiries that become bookings, logs, backups and invoicing records follow separate rules that must be finalised before the form opens.
Depending on the processing, individuals have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To request erasure of their data, they can email [email protected]. Complaints may be submitted to the CNIL. Marketing or tracking consent must be separate from the transport enquiry.
